I saw at age 4, living off the lands with my grandparents the entire winter was spent in Little Pukatawagan River, and we moved to an island close to Pukatawagan. I observed in the quietness of spring as the ice thawed and the river etching closer to our shoreline. We finally left the door open as summer arrived.

My grandmother was a herbalist, dream interpreter, and respected medicine elder in our community. Many came to her house to seek answers, help in their healing and here I am a 4-year-old listening too incredible stories. This became the catalyst in the work that I do toady.

I am a Sundancer, water warrior, with a pipe that helps me; I work constantly in my learning towards better physical health, and spiritual health. Everything that I do is through Creator, and Im a avid collector of our legend stories with all walks of life, and more importantly from gifted people.

I graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 2004 after an elder told me; “you cannot tell a young person to stand up straight, unless you do it first” I also finished my Sun Dance and Im constantly helping where I can, and as much as I can.

In the early 1990’s we achieved the possible by bringing the crime rate down from 77 young offenders to only 19 in one year, and half. This was possible with my 140 bosses called Jr. Chief and Council. We presented at a provincial youth conference, and a national youth conference, and our goal was the world youth conference, but its when the elder told me and left for University.

During my University studies, after getting advice from my political science professor that we often will say “you know what I think” but said it in a more memorable way. I read 7 hours a day, except Sunday, and on Saturdays I would get up at 5 am and ready till 2 pm but rested on Sunday.

I am a pipe carrier beginner; and medicine teacher beginner. I have the utmost respect for pipe carriers who are so gifted, and with strong hearts. I have my gifts that I am strong at, and I work on what Creator gifted me with, and don’t wish for anything more. One thing that makes me very popular is Emceeing and my Puppeteering. I can bounce to so many stories at all levels.
