Cliff Summers is a member of the Oneida Nation of the Thames, which is a Haudenosaunee community west of London, Ontario. Oneida like all Haudenosaunee communities is a Matrilineal Society – Cliff is Wolf Clan following his mother.

As a “Traditionalist” Cliff has been recognized as a Cultural Teacher and has been accorded respect reserved for Elders. Cliff is a Sun Dancer & Pipe Carrier and has been a singer for the past 45 years. On December 8, 2024 Cliff celebrated 45 years of sobriety, determined to live “drug & alcohol free” to maintain and practice Indigenous Spirituality and Culture.

He is founder and President of the Indigenous Justice Network a nonprofit that was incorporated in 2018 and is a Paralegal Candidate after completing Paralegal Studies in 2020. Cliff is not licensed to practice law as a Conscientious Objector will not “swear allegiance to the Crown”. After completing Paralegal Studies Cliff established the Indigenous Legal Services.
